The Print Emporium is a newly launched Melbourne-based contemporary art brand – whose aim is to deliver an ever-growing range of on-trend, unique and affordable designer artwork.

Founder and Creative Director Zoe Bristow comes from a background in textile, fashion, homewares design and buying in Melbourne, Sydney, and the United Kingdom. Zoe now leads a team of artists to create the curated range of unique artwork – the core of which has been originally hand-painted in oil or acrylic paints. The designs are then digitised using superior reproduction techniques, then printed as either a stretched canvas, or as a giclée art print (unframed or framed option). The incredible detail of the original brush strokes is clearly visible, almost as if it were the original painting.

The collection is designed and made in Australia using high quality finishes and framing – and are available in a variety of size options. Here is a taste of our favourite print designs.

Pre-Order our Summer Edition now

squareMAZ_4943.jpg

Our new Summer edition is almost here and available for pre-order now (for a December delivery). We’re super proud of this issue and that front cover! Here’s a sneak peek look at what’s inside.

Firstly, how gorgeous is our front cover home belonging to Kristy Gordon? The star of her all-white kitchen has to be that stunning glass splashback looking out to the vertical garden. Kristy has embraced greenery throughout her cheerful abode, and to stunning effect which you can also see in her dining room pictured above.

Looking for relaxed coastal style? You’ll adore Kirsten Thompson’s family home (pictured above), along with holiday home Soul of Gerringong (pictured below).

Looking for outdoor inspiration for your garden? We’ve got three stylish outdoor spaces in this edition – and this space above in the home of Ashleigh and Ben Keily (of Arc + Family) is pure tropical bliss. Our Summer edition is in newsagents from Thursday, November 30 and available to order now through the Adore online shop (click here).

Located in Armadale’s High Street, one of Melbourne’s hottest shopping spots, FJORD + CO stocks a beautifully curated selection of furniture, rugs, textiles and decorative accessories, with an emphasis on handcrafted and artisanal pieces. It’s a treasure trove of delights for every area of the home, from table top to cushions, baskets to bed linen and rugs to chests of drawers.

“Our focus is on creating an irresistible edit of homewares from around the globe that we know are a beautiful fit for the way we live here in Australia,” says Anna.

Anna and Tina have a combined 22 years of experience in successfully navigating the Australian homewares market. Both have long had a mutual respect for each other’s talents and would often catch up on overseas buying trips, where they’d be visiting similar suppliers. They say great minds think alike, so when two of the best on the Melbourne interiors scene team up you know the result is going to be fabulous.

Siesta Home’s new Nomad collection

Siesta-bedding_2198.jpg

Siesta Home’s new Nomad range is making it easy to mix it up in the bedroom, and keep things looking fresh. Here’s a look at their range.

Founded by retired Olympic snowboarder and now mother of two, Johanna Lyle, Siesta Home is spicing things up in the bedroom with their vibrant and lively bedding. “Since retiring from my athletic career after having a family, Siesta Home has been a postcard of my former life as an Olympian – using a mix and match approach to bedding, and making a house into a home.”

The new Nomad collection was inspired by the feeling of wanderlust, being surrounded by nature and starry nights. The collection is an eclectic spectrum of unexpected colours and textures that encourage a mix and match mentality, and features beautiful high quality materials – like cotton velvet, cotton linen and cotton percale.

I love the fact that all of the duvet covers are reversible meaning you can change up your look with ease, not to mention it saves on buying two quilts if you wanted to mix things up every now and then.

Many of you would know of Sarah’s styling work at Real Living magazine, where she was the Style Editor for seven years. Since departing from Real Living, she has gone on to release a beautifully considered, well-designed range of contemporary furniture and homewares with a real urban edge.

Inspired by her love for coastal interiors and life in Bondi Beach, there’s so many pieces to ooh and ahh over. We’ve fallen in love with the Alva armchair in velvet, Jay terrazzo coffee table (both pictured above), and that heavenly Stacey dining table (below), just to name a few.

The range is available to purchase from Clickon Furniture and Sarah Ellison Studio.

As a magazine editor, I get pretty excited when I discover a new boutique brand producing beautiful quality furniture right here in Australia. Melbourne-based Made By Morgen hand make all of their pieces using both traditional and modern joinery techniques. With inspiration from mid-century Scandinavian design, Made By Morgen create refreshing, unique and individualised pieces for people, places and spaces. For me, it’s the attention to detail that’s most exciting about this range, for example the leather strap detail on the bench seat (pictured below) and the hidden drawer for additional storage in the bed (pictured opposite).
